My name is Tara, and I’m the heart and lens behind Tara Courtney Photography.

I’m based in the beautiful North Burnett region, in a small town Called Gayndah, known for its citrus and charm.

Photography has been a life-changing journey for me. What started as a personal passion quickly grew into a heartfelt mission, to capture the raw, authentic moments that mean the most. I believe in storytelling through candid, natural images that reflect the real emotions and connections between people.

As a proud mum of four, I truly understand the value of preserving memories. It’s often us mums behind the camera, but rarely in front of it. That’s why, in 2019, I made the decision to turn my passion into a business. to help families, especially other mums, be seen, celebrated, and remembered in the moments that matter most.

For me, photography isn’t just a service, it’s a deeply personal experience. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing my clients light up when they see their memories beautifully captured, ready to be treasured for a lifetime.
